Stem  Plants

* Stem plants have an elongated stem axis, on which the leaves occur at intervals (nodes) with enough distance between them to permit the stem internodes to be visible.

 

 

 

Rosette Plants

* Rosette plants have a shortened stem internode-that is, the leaves are so close together that they form a basal leaf rosette.
